Welcome back. We've missed you these last couple of weeks.

I could also call this post, "Not too shabby for a nine year old car".

The Green Hornet has done me proud, even if I can barely fit both car seats in her and still drive without hitting my knees on the steering wheel.

All Penny wants to do is talk to her sister. Sometimes I can barely even get her to eat. I'm so glad they love each other.

Easter

We had Mark's grandparents, uncle, aunt and two cousins over for Easter dinner on the day before Easter. The only photo I got was of Mark's impromptu centerpiece. He used some of our favorite Easter "friends" to make things festive!

Mother's Day

The only bad thing about taking photos on my actual camera is that it sometimes takes me two weeks to upload the photos onto my computer. Hence, I am now posting a photo of us on Mother's Day. Oops.

I decided to try to coordinate our outfits to let everyone know that we all "go together". It's hard to tell, but Mark's shirt has a green stripe in it that matches Penny's dress. I threw in the green flip flops on Norah and called it good. Here's the best photo we got.

A Picture of Dejection

This little guy looks about as morose as I feel about our recent spate of cold weather and the snow that came with it.

On the up side, it gave me an excuse to use my camera app to make the photo look more forlorn.

Gifts

They say that Mother's Day is one of the biggest days of the year for florists. Mark does a great job of honoring me on that special day. I'm sure one day the girls will probably graduate to "real" presents, but take a look at that sweet face and tell me why I need store bought flowers. :-)

The "River"

We went to Brookside park today. It backs right up to Junction Creek. The play equipment is just Norah's size. This may become a new favorite!

I didn't get any photos of her on the playground, but I did manage to snap one of her first dip in the creek. Hooray for warm weather!!

Train Station Fun

Along with paying a little visit to the horse statues on Friday, Norah got to meet someone else very special.

He was in high demand, and she was very patient waiting her turn to give him a squeeze.

I think it's safe to say that he's her second favorite dog (after Jamie, of course).

Horsing Around

We went to the train station Friday to celebrate the running of the first train to Silverton. They had free hot dogs and our favorite local cowboy band. Of course, whenever we go to the train station we have to make a stop at the horse statues in front. They were too hot to sit on (hooray for warm weather!) so Norah had to settle for a kiss.

Jump Around

Yesterday we went to dinner at our friends the Palmer's place. The presence of five kids ranging from 4 months to 7 years precluded me from taking many pictures.
I did get to snap a few when Norah managed to convince her daddy to take her on the trampoline. The Palmers have an old school trampoline given to them by some friends whose daughters are now in college. Old school as it is, it doesn't have any of that cumbersome safety equipment. Of course, that just makes it more fun, right? Since Norah had never been on an above ground trampoline Mark still insisted on jumping with her.
I was pretty far away when I took the pictures. It was freezing out there so I stayed on the porch. So I took the opportunity to use my new photo editing app too! Not only did I crop the photo to showcase Mark and Norah simultaneously in the air, I added a little effect to it too.
